1-21-2010 - Tegrity does not work in Chrome browser on Windows.
2-2-2010 - Latest Windows version is 7.5.2.731. If you are having issues in WindowsXP, update your recorder by starting your recordings from the Tegrity Viewer page in Blackboard.
Tegrity is a flexible software tool that can capture audio, video and computer screen activity, then wrap it up in a single "Tegrity session" which is automatically uploaded and linked into your Blackboard course. Tegrity can be used from Tegrity enabled classrooms and from office or home computers to create lessons, demonstrations, critiques, podcasts and other materials that can be accessed online.

Joy D'Angelo and others use Tegrity to record student presentations and speeches, which are then automatically available in their Blackboard course.
If you have a microphone and/or video camera connected to your computer, You can install Tegrity on any Windows computer RIGHT NOW. Install it by logging in to your Blackboard course, clicking on the Tegrity button in the left-hand navigation bar, then clicking on the "Record a Class" button in the top of the window that pops open. The software should install on your computer and open up the recording session right then and there. The instructor usage guide is linked at the bottom of this email message. Contact Thatcher Bohrman at x2352 or the TELS help line, 771-6120 for additional help.
To record your face-to-face classes, talk your Division Assistant Dean or Dean to get scheduled in one of the Tegrity enabled classrooms (see FAQ for list of rooms). There are currently 9 Tegrity-enabled classrooms in Prescott and 2 in Verde Valley.
Thatcher Bohrman is the college point of contact for Tegrity support and training. Please contact him about getting a web camera and/or microphone, as well as to learn more about the software.
