What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is an online interface used by faculty, students, organizations, clubs, and interest groups at Yavapai College. Faculty and students use it primarily as an online classroom resource, both for traditional classes and for Internet classes. You may hear it referred to by its technical acronym, CMS, which stands for Course Management System, but, in general, you'll just hear instructors and classmates refer to it as Blackboard.
