Hispanic Heritage Month

yc-hispanic-heritage-month-graphic.jpgHispanic Heritage month symbolizes the strength and resilience of the Hispanic community, highlighting our enduring ability to overcome adversity. Its standing on our ancestors’ shoulders to transform spaces not traditionally available to all while witnessing the sacrifices of family, friends, and neighbors in pursuit of a better life.

The Hispanic culture brings faith, rich traditions, vibrant celebrations, rhythmic music, bold flavors, and a deep sense of community. For over 50 years, Hispanic Heritage Month has been celebrated in the United States from September 15 - October 15, and this year is no different.

Please join us for a fun family event on September 21, 2024, for Yavapai College’s annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the Prescott campus. There will be games, prizes, Sonoran Hot Dogs, Folklorico dancers and more.
