ADVANCED MANUFACTURING
AAS Degree & Certificate (CTEC)
The Advanced Manufacturing Degree is designed to teach students marketable skills in high tech automated manufacturing processes that incorporate innovative technologies to improve production of products from design to manufacturing stages.
Duties may involve multiple areas such as: pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, CNC machining, CAD Design, installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment.
Note: Freeport McMoRan, Inc. sponsor mining programs designed to prepare students for direct employment in the mining industry.
