    CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
CTEC and Verde Valley Campus
The Construction Technology Courses are designed to provide students with hands on training in basic carpentry as it applies to the residential construction industry. This includes core skills including framing, foundations, basic concrete, roofing, safety, window and door framing, blueprint reading, flooring, and interior and exterior finishing. Students will receive training in all of these areas, leading to entry-level jobs in high demand. The construction industry is one of the largest industries in the world.
Basic Residential Trades Certificate The Basic Residential Trades Certificate prepares students to apply basic skills and knowledge in the core trades of residential carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
Basic Carpentry Certificate Introduction to carpentry safety, hand and power tool operation, blueprint reading, materials, and layout. Hands-on experience in cutting, fastening, footings, framing, assembly, door/window installation, flooring, and finishing.
