The Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology prepares students for entry level positions as radiographers. The program is designed in accordance with the Radiography Curriculum established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and consists of classroom and laboratory instruction integrated with hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
• A pre-radiology workshop certificate
is required for the radiology program application packet. The pre-radiology workshop certificate is valid for 12 months and must be current at the time of radiology application submission.
• Students wanting to become a Radiologic Technologist must pass
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) national exam and then apply for an Arizona Department of Health Services license.
