Members of the public are invited to attend the Yavapai College Career & Technical Education Center (CTEC) In-Person Open House on Saturday, July 31 from 10 a.m. to noon. The campus is located at 220 Ruger Road in Prescott.

Housing Yavapai College’s trade and technical programs, the Career and Technical Education Center is a state-of-the-art facility accommodating programs and equipment that require a large square footage footprint to house specific equipment. CTEC provides students a hands-on training facility that will give them a chance at better employment and the ability to stay in Prescott to go to school instead of leaving the area to attend technical schools. Located near the Prescott Airport (formerly the Ruger Building), the 108,000 sq. ft. building sits on an 8-acre site.
"At our open house, we’re excited to let people know we will be back in person for the fall semester." said Director of Admission, Wendy Present. "We will be showcasing and answering questions about our CTEC programs, and we’ll also be doing campus tours, giving away YC branded items, and helping students register for the upcoming fall semester."
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in scholarship giveaways during the open house.
