There’s no expiration date on dreams, but life does get in the way. That’s why the Yavapai College Admission team is making it easy for everyone who has been thinking long and hard about starting or returning to college to be ready to launch this spring.
The team is hosting a pair of enrollment events in November during which new students will get face-to-face encouragement and help with everything needed to launch their academic journey and career dreams when spring semester starts in January.
Participants in YC’s Enrollment Days will get in-person guidance with getting in, staying in and achieving success in college and the workforce. Specifically, enrollment team members will be alongside as prospective students complete a YC application, apply for financial aid and scholarships, complete any needed testing and plan their academic or career-training journeys.
“We’re excited to welcome and assist spring-semester students during our Enrollment Days events and give them the personal attention and assistance they need to thrive at YC,” said Wendy Present, YC Admission Director. “We want to make the start of their life-changing college journey as carefree as possible, so students can focus on learning and the rewards that come with it.”

No appointment is necessary. New students are welcome to come by anytime during Enrollment Days. Individuals can be in, out and ready to be a Yavapai College student in under two hours, Present said.
