Two Roughrider women’s basketball teams have gone to the national tournament and only one Roughrider women’s basketball team has logged an undefeated record at home: 1982-83 Roughriders accomplished both of those feats. Conference and Region Coach of the Year in 82-83, Dave Brown, guided a team, full of freshman with only one sophomore, to a 25-5 overall record, 11-0 home record and a Region Championship while watching three of his players earn All-Conference and All-Region honors. 

The impressive season included beating Northern Arizona University twice and started an impressive streak of 29-consecutive regional playoff appearances for the Roughriders. Congratulations to the 1982-83 Women's Basketball Team!
