Yavapai College and a host of community partners are making it easy for everyone to march into a healthier spring, bringing free clinics, screenings, resources and family fun to a Spring Health Fair happening Saturday, March 30, on the Prescott campus.

The doors will open at 10 a.m. in Building 19 and stay open until 2 p.m., welcoming all ages to take action to improve their physical and mental health, whether by taking advantage of free mammograms and other health screenings and clinics, or by engaging with dozens of providers, non-profits and family advocacy organizations that will be on hand at the fair.

On the lighter side, attendees can enjoy face-painting, free refreshments, prize drawings and grab a box of free food from Manzanita Outreach. Yavapai College will share information with attendees about resources available to students, including its food pantry, and other basic needs accessible through the college’s Strong Foundations office. YC Veterans Services and Drug and Alcohol Prevention staff also are participating.

“This is going to be a health fair like no other in the community and Yavapai College is proud to be hosting and partnering with so many valuable resources in our communities. We hope to make this an annual event so we need everyone in the community looking to connect with healthcare service providers and resources to carve out some time with us on Saturday, March 30,” said Monica Belknap, YC Director of Social Services Support.
