Commercial Driving License Spring 2023
8 week sessions start March 20, 2023 at the Chino Valley Center
Earn a good living by driving a truck. Yavapai College starts its Commercial Driving License Spring 2023 8-week session on Mar. 20 at the Chino Valley Center (2275 Old Home Manor Drive, Chino Valley).
A person with good driving experience can earn more than $65,000 per year, and an entry level driver can earn up to $40,000 per year. As you start gaining more experience, your pay starts increasing. Some employers are paying more than $100,000 per year plus signing bonuses.
Students meet in the classroom on the first day of the session for the required orientation, then students arrange a driving schedule with the instructor.
Financial aid is available. Complete the Financial Aid application at www.studentaid.gov and fill out the scholarship application form located in the portal under the “Students” tab and “My Financial Aid.” Additional information on how to complete the Financial Aid application can be found at www.yc.edu/finaid. For additional funding opportunities, contact NACOG. VA Education Benefits may be applied.
You must complete an online application to be placed on a waitlist. You must also apply to become a student and get a YC ID number before you can complete the application. The application can be found at www.yc.edu/cdl. Once you click the application button, it will give you the information to apply.
