AAS Degree & Certificate
(Chino Valley Center and Verde Valley Campus)
The programs in Agriculture Technology are highly specialized for those
seeking technical employment in the agriculture industry. Students enrolled
in our programs have access to a large greenhouse, fish hatchery, equestrian arena, computer lab, and science lab. Our mission is to provide students with the highest quality technical education that leads to careers in high demand sectors of the agriculture, aquaculture and animal professions.
The Agriculture Technology Management Certificate prepares students for work in the agriculture science, business, and technology of plant and animal production and/or about the environmental and natural resources systems industry.
Certificate: Animal Care & Management
Possible Careers: Careers in these areas include veterinary assistants, shelter operators, animal control officers, groomers, zookeepers, animal handlers, trainers, therapists and day-care operators/providers.
Certificate: Horticulture Science
Possible Careers: Succeed in the highly specialized field of horticulture as a Grower, Organic farmer, Plant Biologist, Herbalist, Nursery Worker, or Research Specialist.
