Many entry-level jobs in the world of business require a bachelor’s degree. Professionals without a bachelor’s degree will have more difficulty advancing their career. A bachelor’s degree can open the doors to new positions, higher pay, and long-term job security.
YC is offering its first bachelor's degree, a Bachelor of Science in Business Degree. The Bachelor of Science in Business program trains individuals to assume management or supervisory positions in business, industry, and government. It provides basic skills in a broad range of business functions including accounting, computer usage, leadership, management, and marketing. Students will be able to enter the degree program as a freshman or transfer in at any time.
You can finish the degree at your pace. Even if you are starting with no credits, you can finish in as little as 2.5 years or part-time in 6 years. You can transfer in credits or qualify for up to 60 credits for prior learning to finish faster.

The Bachelor of Science in Business with Accounting Concentration is a degree program that provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the accounting profession. The program emphasizes the development of financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, and taxation skills, as well as analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Students will also learn how to use accounting and data analytic software, prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and develop budgets. Graduates of this program can pursue careers in accounting, finance, auditing, tax preparation, and consulting, among other areas. This program also provides the foundation to transfer into master’s-level certified public accountant (CPA) track programs.
The Accounting concentration currently has textbooks costs and student fees. YC continues to reduce these.
