A Bachelor of Science in Business degree is designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to excel in management, supervisory, or entrepreneurial ventures. The learner will develop applicable competencies in various business functions, including accounting, leadership, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and accounting.
Certificates
Management, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurship certificates are designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in various business-related fields. These certificates focus on practical, real-world skills that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Learners earning a certificate may use it to enhance their careers or pursue new business opportunities.
Future Business Leaders of American (FBLA Collegiate) Student Organization
FBLA Collegiate is dedicated to inspiring and developing the next generation of leaders by preparing members for careers in business and business-related fields. The goal of FBLA Collegiate is that through their experiences, every member will develop a positive personal brand and demonstrate the ability to lead a team by bringing out the best in team members.
College Honors Program (CHP)
The College Honors Program is an academic-based leadership program that aims to develop student scholars who will become broad thinkers, service leaders, and influential leaders. CHP provides educational enrichment opportunities and fosters an environment of service, intellectual curiosity, academic achievement, and social responsibility. Students engage in classroom and campus leadership.
Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society (PTK)
Yavapai College has a very active branch of this National Honor Society for two-year colleges. Our chapter, Beta Gamma Pi, aligns with the national organization’s mission to recognize the academic achievement of college students and to provide opportunities for students to grow as scholars and leaders.
