YC Promise Mentors are individuals who donate their time and services to the promise program to help guide new students on the education journey.
Mentors will build relationships with students to support them as they adjust to college. A mentor may help with exploring career paths and identifying YC resources.
Mentors are crucial to the YC Promise program. They guide high school seniors on their path to becoming YC students!
The YC Promise mentoring program is designed so even the busiest person can make a meaningful impact.
If you do not have experience in working in education, do not worry! We will train you to work with our students!
